The AC Installation Process
The following is an overview of our air conditioning installation process:
Assessment and Planning
Our skilled AC installation technicians in El Paso will assess the area where the air conditioning system will be installed and consider factors such as square footage, layout, insulation, and existing ductwork.
We will determine the appropriate type and size of air conditioning unit needed for your space.
After considering accessibility, airflow, and aesthetics, our techs will also choose the ideal placement of the indoor and outdoor units.
Installation of the Indoor Unit
We will mount the indoor unit(s) according to the manufacturer's instructions, typically on a wall or ceiling.
We will also install any necessary ductwork needed to distribute the cooled air throughout the space.
Installation of the Outdoor Unit
We will position the outdoor unit in an ideal location, such as on a concrete pad or mounting brackets, and follow all clearance guidelines specified by the manufacturer.
Our team will then connect the outdoor unit to the indoor unit(s) using refrigerant lines, electrical wiring, and drainage pipes.
Our techs will also ensure the outdoor unit is level and securely anchored to prevent vibration and noise.
Refrigerant Charging
Charge the air conditioning system with refrigerant according to the manufacturer's specifications. This typically requires connecting gauges and hoses to the system and carefully measuring and adjusting the refrigerant levels.
System Testing
We will test our new AC system to ensure all components, including the compressor, fan motor, thermostat, and controls, are functioning properly.
Our AC installation experts will also ensure the system provides adequate cooling and airflow throughout your space.
Final Checks and Cleanup
Our techs will then inspect the entire system for any leaks, loose connections, or other issues that may need attention.
We will clean up the work area, removing any debris and packaging materials.
Lastly, we will provide instructions for operating and maintaining your new air conditioning system, including any recommended maintenance schedules.
